12 km | 520 m of elevation |
Box Hill, Surrey

  • Ups. Downs. Steps!

  • I love all the hills, but my favourite part is 8-9km in, running on a narrow, winding path through the woods before hitting the stairs down to Headley Lane

  • The final downhill is on fairly uneven tricky ground, so it's hard to let go and do an all out sprint to the finish.

  • Anyone keen to see what fell racing means in Surrey. Think trails and steps rather than fells!

And anyone who enjoys a hill or two

  • Whilst it's only 12km, there is a decent amount of elevation, so I was glad to have a gel part way round as a pick me up.

  • It's worth a recce, as it’s easy to miss some of the turns.
