25 km | 1,300m elevation |
Eryri, Wales

  • Stunning, tough, runnable

  • The scenery was utterly divine, the climb was challenging and the downs runnable after the initial decent.

  • Loved all of it! But if I had to say, the boring flat boggy part was the least enjoyable part and the initial decent was fairly technical so had to take it easy.

  • Anyone up for a scenic challenge with a good climb and keen to push throughout.

25km with over 1,000m of elevation was a great distance to be able to give it everything and not have to hold back.

  • Run/walk the up. Parts are runnable and you can make up time by running parts, then recovering on the steep parts by walking.

After the summit most of it is downhill so you can run.

  • The setting was worth the 5 hour drive from London and would highly recommend it.

It’s up there as one of my favourite races.
