10km Run, 44km Bike, 5km Run |
Richmond, Surrey

  • Multisport, beautiful and challenging

  • The beautiful setting of Richmond Park.

  • The bike course is pretty tough. Four times up Broomfield Hill was a killer and the long drag up to Richmond Gate wasn’t easy either. But the descents are good fun!

If it’s a hot day (it was), you’ll need to think about hydration, especially when on the bike so that you’re ready to run again.

  • Anyone looking to have a first go at multisport or someone looking for a challenging duathlon course in a beautiful London park.

    1. Don’t go out too hard on the 10k especially as it’s uphill. Go as hard as you can on the bike and then hang on for the 5k.

    2. Tape gels to your bike frame so you can easily eat them while cycling. Also fuel as you would for a marathon.

    3. Don’t rely on getting drinks on the course unless you ready to stop to drink them. Paper cups are very hard to drink from especially when cycling.

    4. Buy a race belt for your number and bring something to make holes in it so it easily clips on.

  • A really well organised event, with lots of info for newbies to the format. It’s not an easy course, but it’s a lovely place to do it.
