Scenic. Friendly. Brutal

The final descent into Llanberis was a lot of fun. You can hear the crowds and you know you haven't got far to go so you can really give it some.
Equally this could be someone's worst part of the race if you don't enjoy running downhill.
-
The final climb for me. I started to cramp up nearing the top which I had to stop and sort out putting an end to my sub 4 hopes.
-
Anybody wanting a run a marathon in a spectacular place.
You definitely won't be getting any PBs on this course so if you're like me and like plenty of big lumps and bumps, this is the race for you.
-
Go easy on the first descent. There is still a long way to go. The climbs are not necessarily very steep, they just go on for ages.

The support at this event is fantastic. Plenty of water stops and feed stations.
They used Mountain Fuel jellys at the feed stations which I happen to use anyway, but if you're not familiar with them its worth giving them a try before hand. Less gels to carry then.
