You end up at Race HQ in Goring after each 25 mile leg so you have plenty of opportunities to change kit and resupply.
I've ended up changing my shoes after the first leg both times I've run it - rookie error trying a new shoe/sock combos on race day twice!

It's a very runnable course and, yes, you can run 100 miles.
Also, the men's race goes off very fast for the first leg but don't worry, it slows down.
