Paris, France

  • Scenic, accessible, French

  • The mix of city centre, with familiar sights, and more rural parks.

  • The expo is quite a way out of the City Centre, and very busy when you get there.

  • Anyone wanting to experience a marathon abroad. It’s really accessible, relatively flat, very scenic and only 2.5 hours away by train!

  • Remember you need a GP signed certificate to run in France. Plan ahead to get a GP appointment. Your GP will probably charge you.

  • It’s the biggest marathon in the world, which is awesome to be part of, with logistics to match.

55,000 people starting on the same street is never going to be the easiest, but it’s worth it.
